Alhamdulillah, only Allah knows how happy am I these few days. The happiness feels like living in a beautiful garden full with blossoming flowers, flowing rivers, where you can see butterflies flying around, you heard nothing but the sounds of birds singing... hee i know i'm exaggerating.... haha but it feels that beautiful. Seriously.
Okay let me share with you some part of my happiness. Have u ever heard of Yasmin Mogahed? Hee i accidentally listening to her talk last night and I found that she is a real good speaker. She speaks words of beauty and wisdom, where you found happiness inside it. But don't forget to remember that every happiness that come into your life is from Allah, humans are just an 'asbab' or reason that leads you to it.
SubhanaAllah, i'm impress to see people who are able to speak and convey beautiful messages in their own unique and beautiful way. If the creations are wonderful, can you imagine how superb is the Creator? =)
Okay lets get this thing more straight forward. Actually i come across few interesting things when i listen to her talks. So let me start by sharing one beautiful thought today. I hope it can help to increase our imaan, both yours and mine, and this sharing is nothing but Lillahi Ta'ala =)
In one of her talks, she mention about the phrase of 'Allahu Akbar'. Where did you heard or speak of this phrase usually? Hmm. Sometimes we didn't realise that we are repeating this phrase over and over again, everyday in our life which is in our solat. But did we really understand the meaning of this phrase or we just simply say it as a part of our ibadah? Did we mention it just because we want to move from 'Iktidal' to 'Sujud'? Here are the differences when we are doing our ibadah as an ibadah or we are doing it as a ritual only. Its okay, every single thing that you know today start with a 'dont know'. That is why we have to learn this together and improve ourselves together because I am also nothing than just Allah's slave, same as you who currently reading this.
Okay if we asks anyone around us, I think most of us know that AllahuAkbar means Allah is Great. Allah is The Great. But actually it means more like 'Allah is Greater...' If you are asking yourself greater than what?
The answer is... "Greater than everything. Allah is greater than everything."
"Allah is greater than your problems that keep on lingering in your mind during your solat. Allah is greater than the things that you plan to do after your solat. Allah is greater than the books you have been studied and the knowledge that you gain before you performing your solat. Allah is greater than people you love the most that you keep on thinking during your solat. Allah is greater than everything! "
If we really understand this phrase, even though we have so many other dunya thoughts while performing our solat, we are able to fight it. Every time we move during solat, we think of something that upset us and we speak AllahuAkbar, we will come to a point of realization that Allah is even bigger than our sadness. Bigger than our fear. Again, bigger than everything!
Because this time we not just simply know the phrase of AllahuAkbar means Allah is The Great. But now we also able to understand the real meaning of it. We are able to use our knowledge as an 'amal'.
InsyaALLAH, if we are able to apply this in our daily life and ibadah, we will able to look at things and dunya in a new different perspective. Something which is more positive. We will manage to let go our ego because we knew that dunya is nothing compared to Allah. InsyaAllah we will be more 'khusyuk' in our ibadah. amin...
I think this is so meaningful that I must and have to share this with all of you. InsyaAllah if I come across more beautiful things in the future, we will have a more wonderful sharing okay?
Till then lets take care our imaan together. InsyaAllah.
*If there is one reason why I love you so much my friend, I hope the reason is because of Allah. LillahiTa'ala.*
